QA Engineer:
This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the designing and deploying of our new proprietary web-serving software. Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to testing new applications created by developers, writing test plans and test cases, automating commonly executed test scenarios, performance and load testing. Applicants must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a positive attitude and be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Technical Requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Deep understanding of white box and black box testing
- Experience in automation using JAVA and/or C++ or similar programming languages
- Ability to understand the application API for testing purposes
- Skilled in scripting using Ruby/Perl/Python
- Familiarity working with graphical tools (i.e. Silk, Winrunner, QTP, Selenium, Fitnesse)
- Expert in Performance Testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter
- Experience with file systems, server architectures, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Linux systems is preferred
- Media industry experience also a plus!
